If you are talking about 'A' levels, I presume you are in UK,
at 'A' levels, you need at least Physics, chemistry, biology and get good grades, preferably A's and A stars.

More importantly , You need to get into Medical School first, and then after 5 years of graduating, need 2 years of Foundation year training and then apply for ST(specialist training). The training system for that currently is in chaos and hopefully by the time you graduate from Medical School,, things should be more streamlined.

You need to train to be a doctor first before you can consider Psychiatry as your career.

As mentioned by Channi you will have to train in medicine before you can specialise as a psychiatrist, which is a specialism within the medical field. If your interest is in fact more in psychotherapy, there are many different routes. Usually, you would not do a psychotherapy training straight from school and the best thing is probably to study something you're interested in at university and do the psychotherapy training later on.

You need to go to medical school first and complete a standard medical degree, then take a post graduate training in psychiatry.

Generally now it would be 3 good A levels at one sitting 2 of which should be chemistry and biology.
