Hi wait to see if her purposes to you and then think about wedding arrangements. Im getting married this year and its not all just about getting a wedding dress. There is loads of stuff to sort out and I was shocked at how much there is to do, you need to write a guest list, you need a best man, made of hounour, bridemaids flower girls, where your having the recpetion night do, cars, flowers, dressers, suits, ushers, wedding cake, when you are arranging a wedding and you might not even know what type of wedding you will like church, alternative venue, registry office. etc
So might need alot of money and saving so its best to be engaged and save for a while first .

But I hope he is going to purpose. good luck

Just so you know, it is not possible to get married without your consent AND you have to sign a form about 4 weeks in advance - more if it is a foreign country....

The practical bit aside, why not be celeb about it and borrow the one that Chris Evans on Radio 2 lends out ot listeners. He has it altered to fit and everything.

Good luck :)

Of course if your partner is planning something else - eg "just" a surprise holiday you could always organise thw eedding yourself and spring the surprise on them ;)

Ebay, Craigslist, consignment shop, Dave's Bridal, borrow from someone, check the classifieds in the paper (lots there), watch for sales, JC Penny online,
depends on what you want.

Well there's the obvious bridal shops. Or you could look at the classifieds for people ditching wedding dresses, or craigslist.com.

Or you can ask me if you want a gorgeous totally sequined ivory dress for only $100 + shipping!

I got my wedding dress from eBay. It was brand new and only cost me £100. It was direct from china that's why it's so cheap.

i wouldn't rush out and buy a wedding dress, you may have got the wrong end of the stick, he may just be planning a night out with the lads, so hold your horses!!

First, get a hold of an engagement ring.

All right, but just for fantasy shopping:
