I mean, whats all of it about? is it a musical, a church, a religion, what??? i posted a question about australia a few days ago, and a few people metioned the hillsong church. can it be explained to me? whats the great deal about a church?

hey I'm one of the people that mentioned Hillsong church in that australia question!!!
hahah lol it's basically this amazing church in sydney although they have other churches such as hillsong london (which is in london, but thats kinda obvious).
it's basically a lively church with a lot of people!!!! and im mean a lot, (hehe im listening to their music now !!!) Yeah go on the website, check it out
Sori i get really excited when it comes to hillsongs, i just have connections there (with sydney and hillsong) and i just love it sooooooo much!!!!

Hillsong Church is one of the biggest churches in Australia. It is growing fast and for what I've studied (or researched) they are pretty Bible based, people oriented. They have many, many ministries, but the most popular is their worship band called Hillsong. They also have a youth worship band called Hillsong United. This church is know through the whole world. Hillsong Church started in Australia, it has a huge membership. Brian and Bobbie Houston are the senior pastors...Darlene Zschech and Rubin Morgan are two of the singer songwriters who make their own Cd's...the music is worshipful and exciting. There is also a Hillsong Church based in London...it's believers are Pentecostal which means they have had a spiritual/physical experience with Jesus Christ and believe in His power to heal, powerfully change lives and so on...it's a lively church and not the type of church where you would sit in a pew..Hope this helps...

Hillsong chruch is probably the chruch name i am not sure though.It has a musical band which did many awesome worship songs.Especially darlene's "Shout to the LORD".
