my friend and i would like to lose weight .we have done everything and i mean everything were about to take it to a higher limit can you tell us a safe way to lose weight its about to get unsafe

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I have found the quickest way to weight loss is to stay consitant with whatever diet plan you choose .As well as take it day by day and even hour by hour if you have to ..

the most importaint thing is to remember if you start to think about cheating is what is more rewarding the long term goal of loosing weight and having a nice figuar or the cookie or whatever high fat or large portion that you want NOW !!!

For me it was the Jenny Craig diet it taught me portion size , calories , and I was able to eat things like cake , and chocolate ...for me this was more of a real life situation that catered to me liking sweets and other things that tend to make you fat. I personally would rather have a little of whatever I like to eat than none at all.

You can do a similar diet with lean cusien just remember to include fruit, yogurt, and always eat breakfast as it will jump start your metablolisim in the morning and this as well will help you with excellerated weightloss ...

I was on a 1000 calories a day but that isn't always suitable from person to person. In the first month I lost close to 13 lbs 5 llbs the first week and I thought wow I am going to loose all this every week not true. from that point I started losing 1.5-2.5 lbs per week ... usally just one week before my menstrual cycle I could lose 3-4lbs one time.

As well I tried to eat as many small portions as i could though out the day.. 3 meals and 3 small snacks ...

I did very light walking for exercise, and went from 155 lbs to 118 in 12 weeks ...

Weight Watchers all the way!!! It is so easy to follow, you eat all of your favorite foods. It teaches you portion control. I LOVE TO EAT and I have lost 20 pounds since March 1st and it wasn't tough. I am married, have two kids, work full time and am involved with many organizations and the program easily fits into my daily routine. I still cook for the family and eat most of our favorite dishes and started cooking a lot of new favorites. Whats best about Weight Watchers is you eat all your own food. There is no meals to buy. They do have WW food that you can buy in the store, but I rarely do. I think right now to sign up there is no fee and if you do the monthly deal it is $39.95 and that includes E-Tools which rocks because you can plug in all your favorite meals and get the POINTS values for it. It is a great flexible program and it has been a life saver - I am five pounds from my goal so I wasn't big to begin with but many of my meeting mates have much more to lose. Eat less calories and MOVE more. Drink lots of water. Coffee, tea .and diet soda is fine. If you don't know calories , you can get a small paperback at any drug store. Read labels.. No junk.ie donuts,cake ,cookies .chips, basically every thing that's yummy. Go to sleep a liittle bit hungry. You'll feel great in the morning. By the way, the correct way to weigh yourself is in the morning, after you use the bathroom, before you eat or drink anything, naked. That's your true weight. Take a brisk walk evey day, or swim, use the treadmill. Eat lots of fruits and veggies, lean chicken, tuna in water, no fast food. It'll work. You'll be hungry. I promise both. The best way to lose weight is try to eat alot of fruits and vegetables and drink lots of water. Do not drink soda. Green tea is good too.

Example:
Breakfast: Bran cereal with fruit
Lunch: Salad
Supper: Chicken with veggies

Then exercise 3-5 times a week, such as walking, jogging, swimming, exercise ball, punching bag, sit-ups, and pushups.

Have you tried the Atkins diet. I have done that in past before and it really works. Of course you need to workout but all i did was walk for 45mins a day and did that diet. Im starting it again. You get results pretty quick. Good Luck

I'm doing the south beach diet and guess what.. It works. I was a little overweight and this diet help me to reduce my tummy. You just have to be consistent and don't eat what you don't have to. My only exercise was walking and it really helped.
