The Tao teaches that we should ascend to our proper place in the natural order of things without letting our pride and ego prompt us to seek artificial and foolish goals of material rewards and possessions. It also teaches that the only real happiness in this experience is two fold, first to learn to be one with our mother earth in seeking natural life styles and secondly to seek true wisdom and peace from the cosmos,
through calm and peaceful contemplation of all things. To
find this balance of physical and mental harmony leads to
a unity of our whole being with the great cosmic power.
