I thought that only citizens could vote. Does anyone else find it disquieting that we have some state governments that want to allow illegal persons to vote on ideas and initiatives that will affect US, natural citizens. I am all for someone leaving their country and coming here, but I want them to do it LEGALLY. Nothing should be given to illegals for free- if they are here then they should pay at higher rates- I am meaning schools, medical care, everything should be higher.

Voting is a privilege. A privilege of the citizens. Any legal immigrant that naturalizes can vote, too. They've certainly earned it.

The illegal aliens should have no voice at all. That's like someone breaking into my home and demanding the right to change the style of my curtains.

It is very disturbing that illegals are being treated with more respect than legals. And even more disturbing that if one protests illegals, one is called a racist. Since when did race and committing a crime become one and the same? I believe the laws must be obeyed, those that do not respect those laws get deported and fined. There should be no driver's licenses, reduced college tuitions, medical care and NO JOBS without the proper legal paperwork. What is wrong with this country?

Illegals should not have the right for anything let alone VOTE. They are Illegal and criminals. Even incarcerated criminals don't have a right to vote. I find it very disheartening that legal immigrants that go thru the system legally and pay thousands of dollars in fees, are now being considered not to mean anything for their struggles. Now if you break the laws, help throw law enforcement officials in Jail and commit crimes on the American People our Representatives in Congress and the Senate, reward these criminals with citizenship. THAT IS UTTERLY LUDICROUS. CRAZY!!!!!.

If they are illegal, they should not be allowed to vote.If they really want to vote, they can become a citizen legally. If they cannot even do that, they do not care about our country enough to vote.

Right now, one has to be a citizen and without a felony to vote. Of course it is disheartening when I hear of such nonsense - that way the cons would have more idiots casting ballots for jerks! Our state governments need voters to question their antics and tell them that they are against illegals voting.

I agree. People who are in the United States illegally should not be allowed to vote.

HELL NO they should not be allowed to vote. I can't vote in Japan, Mexico, Brazil or any other place other than America, why should they get to vote here.

Not only should they not be allowed to vote, they should not be allowed lobbyists, or to demonstrate and shut our streets down. Only citizens should have rights.
