Look at getting E-load rating or10-ply tires for 3/4 or 1 tonne Diesel Truck. Tires will depend on where and what you will be doing with your truck or the look you are wanting to have aggressive or stock.
With my 1 tonne CTD I do 60% off-road 40% highway and street. I look for a good aggressive tread with E-load or 10 ply tire. The tire I have had lots of success with is the TOYO Open Country M/T. This tire is aggressive but I got great wear on my last set 55,000 miles with lots of off-roading. I had success with Mickey Thompson D**K Cepek FC-II's which lasted me 65,000 miles but was a less aggressive tire than the Toyo M/T's.
To me it is worth to spend a little more on a good quality tire, as in most cases you get what you pay for!!! Tires I would look at for you 3/4 Diesel - Toyo's & Mickey Thompson's and even look at Cooper tires. I have not had much luck with BFG's AT or M/T's on my other trucks as they wore very poorly with my type of driving conditions.

The size that the manufacturer recommends in the truck manual is the best.
As for brand? I ask myself, how long am I going to keep this truck? If it is for more than 70,000 miles, then I'll go buy Michelin 80,000 mile tires. On the other hand, if I plan on selling the truck in a year or two, then I'd buy the cheapest tires, in that size, that I can find -- even some cheap re-treads.
