i asked broken because most of the guys i know are messy and it would seem cleaner to do it that way. i mean we can't have bidets or urinels in our homes. i had friend who had nothing but boys and around the toilet on his first floor was rusty were there was metal and the walls where not in good shape.. ewew

Yes, I wish they would. I don't understand what the big deal is. They sit down when they have a bowel movement, so how is that any different than sitting down when they have to pee? The point is, they CAN sit down to pee--they just don't want to for some reason. Quite frankly, I'm getting tired of wiping my husband's p*ss off the rim of the toilet bowl!!!

when I met my bf 5 years ago I found out (by accident) he sits to pee. I asked him why and he said because his mom who is very tiny they had a small child size toilet in the house and he couldn't stand a pee without it getting everywhere so He has always sat down, occationally though he stands.
Problem is, eitherway it will make a mess cause the way a man is made if he sits the pee will comeout from under the seat if its not aimed completely down, and then if the water is too high it touches it. So they have issuse to deal with too.
Personally, all houses should be equiped with urnals.

As a woman you may have never had the unfortunate opportunity to visit a mens room. But as a man who has been in many public mens rooms, I can say without hesitation that YES guys should pee sitting down (especially when attending sporting events in venues that serve beer)!

No, we have bits that hang off of us and if we have to pee sitting down that requires us to basically stick our hand in bowl past the seat (gross) and having your stuff pinched in between yourself and the toilet seat is quite uncomfortable. Rather, parents out there. Teach your male children the value of wiping up after themselves or to aim better

I understand your point about the mess, but feel it represents some sort of masculinity to a man to stand...so I dont say anything anymore let them be.

I sit when I pee. Peeing outside standing is fine. You can't 'miss' when you pee outside.
