I have a cat that licks strange things too. There's some chemical in them that appeals to your cat. My cat licks photographs. And I hear about lots of cats who lick plastic bags.

There is a particular type of plastic that contains a milk protein derivative- some plastic bags are made of it and my cats go *wild* chewing and attacking them.

Maybe look at getting some metal blinds or the paper type that are less interesting to the kitties~!

I don't know why. Mine chews on my blinds. Drives me crazy cause now there's teeth marks all over them. But she only does it to the blinds that cover the door to the balcony. I think she's just trying to tell me she wants to go outside. Crazy cat.

Are they dusty? Maybe it's trying to tell you to clean up! Only kidding ;-). Why do we twirl our hair, crack our knuckles or tap our feet? Just silly habits I guess. If it's really a problem get some lemony smelling spray on the blinds, that should discourage your kitty.
