well you know what it's all about belief, that's what religion's all about, belief. there will never be an agreement on which is the best of religions because people are so passionate and loyal to their own religion, which is very respectable, that they would never allow themselves to go into another. so really my friend your question has no general right answer, it's only the one you believe to be correct.

Any religion that harms no one with their concepts, that creates harmony among mankind ( and even animalkind ) with their ideas and foster a growth of mind, heart and spirit is best in my opinion.

So even if its an atheist or "unorthrodoxed" group that fosters peace, God or no God, they are already better than some religions that commit heinous violence, intolerance and stifles the minds of the masses.

If you want to know which religion is the truth, then the only answer is Christianity. Jesus Christ is Lord! If you are referring to different denominations within Christianity, then it can be a bit more confusing. There are so many denominations...Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, etc.-each with their own doctrine and beliefs. We all have to work out our own salvations with fear and trembling. Jesus is the only way of salvation because He is the only One who can pay our sin penalty (Romans 6:23). No other religion teaches the depth or seriousness of sin and its consequences. No other religion offers the infinite payment of sin that only Jesus Christ could provide. No other “religious founder” was God become man (John 1:1,14) – the only way an infinite debt could be paid. Jesus had to be God so that He could pay our debt. Jesus had to be man so He could die. Salvation is available only through faith in Jesus Christ! “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

Well, i'm gonna say my religion, Buddism, but i guess it's up to you and what you believe in that determines which religion is the best.

Definitely a Christian based religion. My personal belief is it doesn't matter where you go to church as long as you are right with the Lord in your heart.
