Yes? Pack up all your things and go to iraq, sign up for the army or the nazy or WHATEVER just do what you have to do, go on? Well? You say you are for it and you sit back on your fat as* while a bunch of kids are losing the war and some even their lives. Those americans who are for the war i would say you are only for it because you have so much "love" and "pride" that you trust your goverment is doing the right thing. Not very independent. If you're for the war...GO NOW! Go and sign up to Army

Defend America from what? Too much Oil-money?

Sadly, not all those who support the war are young enough to serve.

By the same token, however, I invite you to leave the country you find so objectionable and settle someplace that is not defended by its military. Might I suggest Syria - Pelosi seemed to like it there. Or you could try Lebanon - the climate is really quite pleasant and it has a fascinating multi-cultural society with a rich history.

Personally, I was against the war in Iraq when it began, but I have to recognize that pulling out would be an even greater disaster than staying. It's not just a matter of supporting or opposing the Administration's decision to go to war, it's the question of whether America can afford to lose another war, abandon it's erstwhile allies in that conflict (for a second time, no less), and live with whatever hostile state emerges as a result.

Winning would be nice alternative, of course, but I don't see that in the political cards - not when the strongest voices crying for the defeat of the US are, themselves, Americans.

I personally do agree with the war, but even if I didn't that doesn't matter. This country is my home, and whether the reasons good or bad we got into this, so are just going to sit back here with your negativity as the 'bunch of kids' as you put it risk their lives for You? For this country, their Home? You also comment like you are there, but that can't be true, if you were then you would know how it is to be away from your family from your entire life for a year or more, just to come back and listen to stuff like this! Having my efforts and sacrifices scorned, being called nothing more than a kid. And if the government did mess up, oh well, WE have to get ourselves out of it, not anybody else, don't begin to point blame just help us help ourselves, enlist yourself, come over here and help us finish this so we can go about our business, or are you just content to sit back and complain?

I'm not 'for' any war. After serving my country for years in the USMC and fighting twice in conflicts, would I have gone again?

Yes...

People only take notice of the military now, because men are dying in a conflict they don't have all the facts in. Most will take one viewpoint and expand it into an anti-war rallying point for others to follow. Do I hate these people? No. I served and fought for people to have that right.

I find it funny that now people notice only the most negative aspect of the military. Men dying. I gave up years of my life, years I can never get back, all the while stating "You will never harm or oppress my people, while I draw breath." Did I ever once recieve a 'Thank you'? Nope. If I had died, some people would have used my death as a beacon for those that stood against what I believed to follow.

I find that very dishonorable.

I am for the Iraq defense. They are at war and will continue to be at war with the USA until we are all getting our heads cut off with box cutters and the women are all slaves wearing tents. If we pull out of Iraq the radical Islamic Fascists will take over in a short time and there will be a blood bath just like when we pulled out of Viet-nam. They will never stop being at war with the USA. Even if we pull out, they will use all the oil money over there to fund terrorists here. I truly wish to avoid that. We have to continue to Defend America by fighting there to stop such a political and economic catastrophy.

In the Army already. Fought two tours as infantry in some lovely places. Combined time clocks over two years.

We're not a "bunch of kids losing the war". A good number of us are in our mid-20s or older. We've never lost a platoon-level engagement or higher.

Some of us never had much "love" for the Federal government to begin with, but lining up to fight when 2,973 get killed by hijacked airliiners is a pretty good response when peaceful means fail.

Since you're telling the Yahoo! Answers crowd "GO NOW!" and enlist, and since a LOT of us are already active duty military, I for one would lke to know what you, yourself are doing.

I'm for the war. But you know everyone who supports can't exactly go and sign up like most people. B/c they are too old to join or too young or has a health problem or they are gay. Why don't get off your butt and do it. Heck ya I would love to joined the Military but I'm gonna get my schooling out the way first. And thank you to all of you men and women that are out there serving and who have served!!!

I am not too sure why we are in Iraq. So, no, I am not for the war. Not to mention the fact that my little bro is over there and everyone, including him, has to worry constantly. and at what price? Everyone I know that has been over there serving for our country, hated it and are confused by it... I think its a waste of time and good lives

No, I was against the Iraq Business for bush buddies venture from the beginning. The fact it was called a war one of many bush lies.

Millions of dollars shipped to a green zone, no accountability what so ever of where and to whom it went.

Billions of dollars bilked from the American tax payers by corporations, and cronies for infrastructure building and rebuilding.

Say No to "No Accountability " Say NO to "No bid contracts" to the usual suspects!

Let the Iraqi people stand up for their country just like we did. If civil war is a must, let it be.

Pull our troops out, let them rest, let them heal, let the Tax payers recover, and when the blood letting over there is done, go back in if the country falls to terrorists.

We stand by and allow Darfur to continue, we can stand by and allow extreemists and terrorists kill each other without the loss of our own!
