Life is too short to put off going for what you want, even if he says no (which i doubt he will cause you sound lovely) then at least it will put your mind at rest. I say ask him out and see what happens, because you don't want to regret not doing it further down the line.

Oh im in the same situation but with this guy he has a girl friend and i have a boy friend but i told him that i liked him so i think if i could do it you can too dont be shy and give it a try.

Dress up really nice to get him to notice you then walk up to him. Ask if he wants to go to movies on the weekend. And to see if he doesnt have a girl already, say "If its ok with your girlfriend you wanna go to a moie with me this weeken" either he says "she'll be cool with it" or he says "aint got 1 so it'll be cool
