my boyfriend of one month has a prep/surfer type of vibe. im more of a punk/alternative. he told me he didnt like the way i dress and things im into. should i change to his style and things he is in to?

Sweetie, if you change do it because that is what you really want, not because he doesn't like it. You are you and he accepted you as his girl not his barbie doll!!! You have to realize it has only been a month, think what will he ask you to do next. I truely believe if he is really interested in you, he shouldn't be judging your likes. Just ask yourself...would he change if I told him the same thing about his way of dressing and things he likes?

NO way if he doesnt like the way you look right now imagine how he will act if you get married he'll hate your hair, clothes, body type, if these things change then he will bug out so

If you love him enough, you would do things to compromise and come together on. But in saying that, be careful that he does not expect you to do all of the changing and him nothing. A relationship has to be mutual.

Don't change for anyone...be yourself ... If he does not love you and accept you as you are, why bother? There needs to be compatability for a relationship to work, and if you are changing who or what you really are, then you are not being true to yourself, and that has to happen before you can be true to someone else....

no! no! he fell in love with you the way you are why then does he want to change you now no do not change because you are who you are then again do you like who you are if not change then try it out if you do not like change again but if you like who you are then do not change he should accept you just like you are and if he does not like it then let him change
