Its not a big deal if she wants to go every once in a while, but for the most part that is like our guy time, our time to just get away from everything. Like when girls go to the mall or go get their hair done , things like that.

Most guys like hunting and fishing because most women don't like it . It's a time to get away from the old ball n chain. I see nothing wrong with women hunting and fishing .

All the women in my family hunt and fish. I don't mind it myself, although on different level, hunting and fishing is also about getting away from the rest of the world and its problems and frankly, no matter how much a man loves a woman and vice versa, the man still sees the woman as part of his problems. So that being the case, guys who don't want women going on hunting/fishing trips just don't want to be bothered.

I took a girl fishing Sunday that is what we did on our first two dates , It was a great way to talk and get to know each other while having fun as well even though I got outfished Sunday it was a wonderful time .
I wont take them if its somewhere rough where I am hunting or fishing ,(Or somewhere they might not enjoy).. Like a 4 mile hike up a mountain or wading through sawgrass and mud going to a fishing spot .
Other than that I am all for it

Most people like going hunting because its some time we get to be completely by ourselves and become one with nature and all that stuff. It kind of ruins it when you have to go with someone else especially if that someone unexperienced. But on the other hand I would love to take a girl hunting or fishing it would be fun.

My guess (I stress the guess part) is that guys like to go out there for peace and silence. Women are more observant and like to comment on the things they see hear and feel to someone they care about. During fishing or hunting, men typically want to focus on what they are doing and have some down time to collect their thoguhts.
Hope this all makes sense.

Keep trying, you'll find one who does, just remember, don't expect him to take you all the time.... but if he never takes you.... that's when to start worrying....
And guys, I know some of us don't do our knots the same exact way you do, or we don't rig up our leaders exactly like yours.... this does NOT mean it's "wrong". I use what works for me, show me the knots you use, if I can manage them I may adopt them, but any girl who's gone fishing can (or at least SHOULD) be able to at least tie a few clench knots and bait her own hook. If not, have patience, she'll learn how if she enjoys fishing.
And this goes for everyone.... jealousy gets us all nowhere... I hear people complaining about how much their significant others call them when they're out, or accuse them of things when they get home, only to learn later that the jealousy is on both ends.... We all need time to ourselves, yes, but offering the opportunity to share the things we enjoy from time to time is a wonderful thing.... oh well, enough of that smarmy crap.
Andrew J. Let me assure you, I am completely straight, I love fishing, but am not a good enough shot (in my own opinion.... yet) to hunt. Drop the stupid stereotypes. Can't wait for someone like you to say that to my face...... I know plenty of dykes who can't stand fishing or hunting, and I know plenty of other straight girls like me who love both. Get a life.
Brandon, don't just assume they wouldn't enjoy a 4 mile hike up a mountain or wading through mud and sawgrass, some of us are freaks.
Injun, again, same advice as I gave to Tasha, keep looking, they're out there.
Edited to add....
Carlos, I know plenty of non-whiteboys who fish. Try it, it's fun.
