as with all countries it is refereed to by it's animal icon

the eagle

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

there are references to Russia in the Bible too as the bear
as well as Germany as the leopard
and England and the lion

Dan 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

this describes both England and the US,
that is where the US started as an English colonies

I've studied the Book of Revelation rather extensively and I can tell you it's not there.

However -- there is a reference to a group of nations that includes the U.S. at Ezekiel 38:13 -- the "young lions" (or progeny) of Tarshish, which most historians seem to agree is the British Empire.
