Here is a question for Jr. fans and HMS bashers...
What if Jr. drove for HMS and started winning races. would people throw stuff at Gordon when he won? or would everyone jump ship and treat him with the same respect that Waltrip got just because they were teammates?

I am a huge Dale Jr fan and do not hate HMS or Jeff Gorden. I use to, but recently have come to respect Gorden's role in the sport. I think HMS is a good team (that is why they win so much). I'm still not to fond of Johnson or Kyle. However, if Jr went to HMS, I would still think of HMS in the same way. I don't care what team Jr is on (just as long as he stays Chevy) I just want him to be competitive every week.

Well, I am a JR fan and although I would never throw anything at ANY driver (THAT'S JUST WRONG), I would also never support Gordon. No matter who JR is driving for. Every sport has a person or team that you love to hate. Kinda like the Yankees and the Red Sox. What's the big deal? And I would support JR no matter who he drives for win or lose! If you jump ship, you weren't a fan to begin with.

The ignorant fans will always throw stuff at Gordon, regardless of what Jr does. The people that have been downplaying his accomplishments and place in NASCAR history won't change their opinions and will continue to bury their heads in the sand for fear of having to face the truth. Ignorance is bliss for those types of "fans" and you cannot win an argument with them. All they ever say is Dale Sr was the best and Gordon will never be as good. Well the stats are starting to tilt heavily in favor of the Wonder Boy regardless of whether you like him or not.

As a Jr. fan, I would never throw stuff at Gordon even though I don't like him or Jimmie Johnson. I never ever root for the whinner and the cheater if Jr. went to Hendrick.

They only car that I would have a problem with Jr driving would be a Toyota. Even then I wouldnt jump ship. If you dump a driver because they have a slump or change a ride. Your not a fan your just another bandwagon jumper.

I still wouldn't like Gordon, but I would never throw anything at him, or anyone else for that matter.
Would people stop........probably not, they're idiots.
Also, Junior fans aren't the only ones who throw stuff on the track.
Oh, and I'm not scum.
Just because SOME Junior fans act like idiots doesn't mean we all are.

Dale Jr couldn't drive for Hendricks, it would put a halt to all the controversy the 2 rivals bring to the fans...

I was a HUGE Terry Labonte fan....He drove for Hendrick. I do not like Jeff Gordon at all....or his little brother Jimmie Johnson. I root for the driver, not the car owner.

Well I am a big Jimmie Johnson fan and yes that is exactly what would happen....I really didn't care for Gordon until Jimmie was his teammate

I would not like him anymore because anyone who drives for HMS is a cheater! I highly doubt Dale Jr. would stoop that low!
