Ok, Its never been infected. I clean it every day STILL and I've had it for almost 2 years. But its shrinking... There use to be about 1/4 inch of skin between the two ends, and now its about 1/8 of an inch and shrinking. It appears dry, but doesnt hurt and isnt red or swollen or anything. Its just weird. Is it because I lost weight??? I went from 130 to 108, but that was about a year ago, this seems to have just happened within the last 2 months or so. I dont know what to do. Has this happened to anyone else? thanks

Belly button and eyebrow piercings are very likely to "surface". The way you describe your problem is what it sounds like. You can not help surfacing. It's just your body rejecting the metal. You can either leave it in and wait, but the scar will look disgusting. Or you can take it out and let it heal.

judging by what you're saying, it's safe to say that your body is rejecting the piercing. the only thing to do is to take it out and let it heal before you end up with a nasty scar. after it has healed, you can have it repierced if you like.
