The Wilderness Lodge (most of it anyway...I'd avoid the Whispering Canyon Cafe) can be an ideal setting for romance. The lobby has a giant fireplace with a bunch of rocking chairs (some rocking chairs are built for two). That'd be a nice place to talk and lay out the "L" word. Also, there are some nice paths out in the back that lead down to Bay Lake, and you can actually walk on down the bike and hiking path to Fort Wilderness as well.

As a guy, I'd have to say that if the woman I loved wanted to tell me she loved me, anyplace would be sufficient. The first time I heard her say it, it was exquisite. The rest was just details. Trust me, as a guy, he's not going to remember any of the other details anyway. :)

Just be you and enjoy yourself. If you overly focus on the detail of making it romantic you might miss the point completely. Good luck.

P.S. I have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. It was super nice. Hopefully you got a room that over looks the savanna so that you can see all the animals. Enjoy yourselves.

Don't try to plan it out to much, because I find that when I plan things like that out, they never work out the way I want them to. Try to be open to special moments during the trip when you feel like it's a good time to say it. Good luck!

Don't try to plan it out to be perfect because when you try to all it does is never go your way so just plan things out one step at a time

WOW. You haven't laid the "L" word down yet, but you guys are taking a week vacation alone together.... Does something sound wrong here?
