1+1+1=3.
I am Christian and believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate and distinct personages.
The bible supports that fact.

I would not call anyone's sincere belief stupid, but the logic behind the doctrine of the Trinity is flawed. Also, different people have differing explanations of what the Trinity is.

For example, on this board some have said that the Trinity is like an egg, or a wife. But another person said that the Trinity is three distinct persons. Now, a woman may be a mother, wife, daughter, etc., but a normal, sane woman is not three distinct persons. She may have three distinct roles, but she is not three distinct persons, as the doctrine of the Trinity (according to some definitions) calls for.

The same with the egg. It may have three or more components, but none of them individually is the egg. To compare this to the Trinity, we would have to say, that it has three "persons" but none of them individually is God. But that is not what the Trinity teaches.

We may have many theories about God, but Jesus said he came to explain his Father. According to Jesus' explanations, the Father is "the only true God." (John 17:3)

Now, we can either go with our theories about God, or the theories of others about God, or we can accept Jesus' explanation of Who God is.

Know the concept,.. then maybe you will know what the word "stupid" means,...

let God be equals to 'a'
let Jesus be equals to 'b'
let Holy Spirit be equals to 'c'

if God = Jesus; God = Holy Spirit; & Jesus = Holy Spirit;
a = b; a = c; b = c; then a = b = c

with given numerical value, then 1 = 1 = 1, is still equal to 1.

you cannot add [ a + b + c ] because they are not like terms although they are of equal value,...

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit have their own entity but is equal with each other,....

The Trinity can't be appreciated as a reality until you believe in Jesus, find you are indeed forgiven and reconciled to God. Then find that God is indeed a Father to you. Moreover you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. They are all God, and salvation wouldn't work if they weren't. But you only know it, and have personal proof of it when you believe.

Otherwise you have to stay with a distant potentate type God, like the God concept in Mohammedanism. There may be fun in the ritual but there can be no satisfying relationship with a distant and inconceivably great potentate.

We need God with us and in us (the Holy Spirit) as well as God above all (God the Father), and an understandable image of God (Jesus), who also makes forgiveness available by faith to all takers.

Do non-Christians realize how stupid it is to believe that order was created from chaos? It is mathematically impossible.

Whose faith is greater? Our faith in a Triune God requires just that, belief. Your faith in theories like Evolution require fanaticism and just plain stubbornness.

By the way. Your lack of understanding makes you stupid, not the equation.

I agree 1+1+1=3 however, if you are referring to the concept of the Holy Trinity, I would think it's either you aren't presenting the entire picture or, you're just compensating for your ignorance with meaness and slander.

1+1+1=3. 1x1x1=1 (the latter is more like the dynamic relationship within the trinity).

An egg has 3 parts but it is still an egg. Just 1 egg!
1 yolk + 1 white + 1 shell = 1 egg
