This is a hard questions to answer. I think we should talk to God when asking for guidance. We should also thank him for letting us get through the day unharmed. I don't think you need to ask for help w. every little thing. If it helps you and makes you feel more at ease, then I think what you are doing is just fine. Make sure to have self confidence though. Be proud and confident in the person that you are.

To answer this seriously, you said you were a very religious person. Being religious does not equate to having a true relationship with God. You can do things outwardly that have an appearance of being connected with God, but really not. I am not trying to be offensive. I do not know where your walk is with God. Do you have the Holy Spirit and have you walked away from all sin in your life? Those two things alone will hinder how God responds to you in prayer. If you are connected to God, then Holy Spirit will give you reassure through God's love everytime you pray. But if none of these things apply to you, then there is nothing wrong with praying all the time. The scripture does say, "Acknowledge the Lord in all thy ways and He will direct you path". So you are to acknowlege Him in everything you do.

If God don't answer U for a couple of times, then U'll see where Ur faith flies. Most of them who pray want something from God and that means that u r not happy with ur present
state,it means u are not confidence.

First of all the bible says it is not by might nor by power but by the spirit says the Lord. so even if you had confidence in yourself as great as a mountain it still wouldn't be enough for you to conquer anything, but the hope of God's direction in you. The bible also says for everything we depend on God. For He provides us with everything we need which is good for us. So don't beat yourself up about having confidence in yourself but rather having it in your Creator because after all He trusted you with His life

You feel you are very religious! What is your problem then?
Anybody feel affects of work-repetition when same work is repeated! Apparently you feel praying is getting repeated?
If a habit give you ability to concentrate and inner strength maintain it else don't do it!
It is intriguing that why do you ask for help from GOD always!
probably it is a habit you have developed!
You can change your habits at any stage of your life!
Please do it judiciously!
You have small problems that are controllable by yourself!
Apparently you are not in bad habits and when you are confused you are easy pray to bad habits!
Take help from matured friends!
Regards!

Hi,
Your confidence, faith and belife is the god. In india haven't you seen, before opening the company or shop, they do pooja and work. It doesn't mean, they lack in faith of themselves in hardwork. We want to start a good future. So we ask for blessings from god.
There is no need to confuse yourselves, your parents had tought you to pray god before you start anything. So you pray god before doing anything. since god is inside you heart, and he guides you in the right path. That is what happening to you now.
But onething. Don;t try to ask for help from god all the times. Coz when you pray and if that doesn;t happen, you may feel bad about it. It doesn;t mean that god is not helping you. He feels that it is not the right time to get the gift from him.So don;t lose your faith. Just pray from your heart with love and affection. That is fine. Don't confuse yourself. Your faith, confident, belife, hardwork, all are gods. so if you ask him through your heart. He will let you know through your heart. Asking god is not wrong, it is like asking your teacher to teach you what is right and wrong.
I wish i helped you. I am sorry if i said anything to hurt anybody here.I didn;t mean to harm anyone.

It's all faith honey........ Lack of confidence won't allow you to ventore into any job. But the fact is that you do. Praying to God before starting the job is probably your good luck charm. Thanking him later is your humbleness. SO not to worry and keep going with the attitude. Although you ask for help from God for little things, but I believe you yourself manage them, don't you?
All the best...

The bible says be totally dependent on God. I find my life so much more less stressful doing God's will rather than my own. I screwed my life and my childrens lives up good for many years doing what I thought was best,my best intentions always went bad. I surrender everything over to the Lord and let him work it out for me and believe it or not, it's a much better way of life for me and my kids.

First of all, What do you Believe?
I believe that God resides in us, literally within us, what is that one thing that keeps us alive and running each day? GOD!
If you believe that god is in you, then this will automatically give you self confidence, And this tells you that God doesn't work for you, but God works with you.
And obiviously you thank God, for woking with you and helping you out thorught, but just thanking won't do it. I'm mean just saying thank you doesn't cut it, He worked with you, so he's your partner in work, so he deserves his fare share, so how will you give him his fare share? Well, just like you see god in your self, there is god in others as well, so you try to help others out to repay him.....
but your question is "is it faith or no confidence?"
Honestly...None of them, If you had faith and confidence in your self, You wouldn't ask for help in the first place. YOu have to have COMPLETE faith in God! That No matter what, He will Always help you, and work with you.....
peace.....
