Offer both the sippy cup and the bottle at the same time, but put the full strength drink in the sippy, and a severly watered down version in the bottle.
Or, skip sippy cups and use a cup with a straw, or just a cup.

When my son was that age I also had a bit of a hard time switching him to cups. I did finally try something that worked like magic to us.
I put only ice water in his bottles-all day and in the evenings. And I filled his sippy cups with milk. I offered him both, but if he wanted milk it had to be from the cup. It took about two days and then he didn't have a bottle anymore. Try the Advent sippy cups. They have a very soft spout, and they take to those better.
Good luck.

I broke my daughter off the bottle @ 8 months old. I hide all of her bottles while she was sleeping & just had sippy cups out & she did just great. My son who is 16 months younger took at little longer he was 15 months old. I would give him a sippy cup & if he dribbled then I went back to the bottle. I just kept trying that till one day no more dribbles & that meant no more bottles.

Try putting a Small amount of quick or chocolate in the milk and as she gets used to using a sippy cup gradually take the quick away.

With my son I got him the NUBY bottle with handles. He used this for a while and then I switched the nipple to the sipy nipple. It worked will and gave him a transition. Also when he had meals I would but a small amount of milk in a sippy cup. I used the Baby Enstein ones because of the color. Good Luck

Have your daugher throw the bottles in the trash - this way she knows they are gone!
Stick with the sippy cups or just try a normal small plastic cup.
I learned, when my oldest was a toddler, they go through phases; eating and not eating - but they will eat when they're hungry. The drinking issue - just keep trying, you may wish to have her drink (just a little) before she eats anything.
Once she sees you will not give into her - she will begin eating and drinking again.

I think some kids just don't like milk. My daughter is not one. She drinks more milk than she should. I have to restrict it sometimes. However, she will only drink from certain sippy cups. (They are made by Nuk) She will drink from her other sippies if they have juice or water, she just prefers her Nuk sippies more. Perhaps you could try different sippy cups and see if that helps. Also, you could try soy milk. A friend of mine found her daughter prefered soy over cow's milk. I think that as long as your son is getting 15-20 oz of dairy (regardless of how) then it is ok that he isn't drinking cow's milk.

if she get thirsty enough she will drink what ever you put in her sippy cup, its her controling you!! She does not have to have milk to survive it may actully be the reason why she does not eat food , it feels her up , so with less milk in her tummy she will get hungry and eat!!

How i did it i put something sweet in my boys cup like soda juice or koolade and when the start to nibble it they tasted it and thats how i got them to drink from a sippy cup. And I started to give them water and other fluids from a straw like put the straw in the fluid cover the other end with ur finger tip and give them a drink and eventually they started to drink from a regular cup good luck
