It's true, she was evil. She was a sadomasichist freak. Christopher Hitchens wrote about her. Not only that, there are reports of her being demonically possessed.
Catholics love their idols, so there is not much you can do to change their mind. It's all part of the mind control...

I don't know about you...sometimes you ask insightful questions, but sometimes you really reach and don't really think about what you're asking.
"Expose the evil of Mother Teresa" - come on! Nobody's perfect - examine your own life and see if you live up to high standards. But Mother Teresa helped so many that were helpless. Sheesh, lay off of her.
If someone from here could see our own life and pick out every single thing we did wrong (including things that we were NOT doing to help those less fortunate), we'd probably look pretty "evil" ourselves.
The Mother Teresa comment was an attempt to attack Christians by attacking one individual, and like I mentioned, it was a weak attack at that. Your attack was just mud-slinging with an expressed purpose but without thinking about that woman's entire life.

Almost an entire population of the world, christians and non-chritians acknowledged Mother teresa's contribution to the poor in more ways than one. They considered her a living saint while alive. It will be just natural for many to react to a few who will tell the opposite about her.
Prove your point, some people may listen but be prepared for the unsatisfactory remarks of the rest.

I am by no means a Catholic or a Christian in the conventional sense of the word, but I still think the woman's legacy deserves some respect.
No one is perfect, but she at least spent her time trying to help other people in need- can you say the same?
*And yes, Elvis was simply a larger framed fellow :D
Kinda like Napoleon was simply short for his age :p*

Transference. They feel that for you to attack a person of faith is to attack her faith...their faith...all people of faith.
This is also the reason why many would prefer that the misdeeds of their public officials be overlooked rather than come to light. Scandals make them look bad, too.
I have great respect for Mother Teresa, but questions about where all the money she raised went and why conditions at the facilities she founded did not improve even with an influx of millions upon millions of dollars deserve to be answered.

Why on earth would you say that Mother Teresa was evil. THere is nothing ever that she said or did that was evil. We should all follow her example. Maybe you think she was evil because of all the stuff you do!!!!!!!!!!

What a pathetic load of cr*p. I am an agnostic but I know she did great good. Of course, as a pathetic specimen of humanity you would hate that some one who believes differently to you could actually do good. Does it make you feel bigger to demean the really good. Does it make you feel better about yourself, who have never done any good and your life is just a waste of air?
As for those who say, where did the money go. Have you ever been to Calcutta? The evidence is in plain sight. Even the most blinkered of you could not miss it.

Everything and everyone has both dark and light sides. She isn't excluded from it, I am sure. She did many many good things in her life. Seeing her darker side, allthough I have no idea what they are lol, isn't evil. Its accepting her for all of her. At least as long as you accept her good as well.

Mother Teresa endorsed the Duvaliers, the source of much deprivation of the poor in Haiti. Also, her acceptance of stolen money from Charles Keating, “now serving a ten-year sentence for his part in the savings and loan scandal.” Keating, a “Catholic fundamentalist”, gave Mother Teresa one and a quarter million dollars and “the use of his private jet.”
During the course of Keating’s trial, Mother Teresa wrote Judge Ito asking clemency and asked Ito “to do what Jesus would do.”
One of the prosecutors in the trial wrote her telling her “of 17,000 individuals from whom Mr. Keating stole $252,000,000.” He added, “You urge Judge Ito to look into his heart--as he sentences Charles Keating--and do what Jesus would do. I submit the same challenge to you. Ask yourself what Jesus would do if he were given the fruits of a crime; what Jesus would do if he were in possession of money that had been stolen; what Jesus would do if he were being exploited by a thief to ease his conscience.” The prosecutor asked her to return the money, and offered to put her “in direct contact with the rightful owners of the property now in your possession.”
This supposed paragon of virtue never replied to his letter.
No one knows what happens to the millions of dollars Mother Teresa receives. There is no accounting and no evidence that she has built a hospital or orphanage that reflects modern health and sanitary conditions.
