we have obviously evolved enough not to need it

The theory of evolution is not proven by the existance of an appendix.

The idea of mankind not being a perfect creation is disproven by it, however.

It's really two different debates. Evolution is proven by slam dunk observed speciation, which has been shown again and again and again, even though antisecularists deny it.

The problem is that he theory does not explain the emergence of man. There are many examples of evolution but nothing to explain the super fast emergence of the primate known as man. We have yet to find anything in between. You have to realize the gigantic brain this primate ended up with. It would appear to be a liability to have such a large brain with major storage and retention ability when there was relatively little to know or store in it.

It is mostly like natural selection works up to a point but then, WHAM, there appears this huge brain that requires loads of high quality protein to maintain and not much reason to have it. It seems we got the brain as a gift and then evolved a use for it.

Did you ever notice how quickly other animals become self-sufficient after their birth? Even apes are pretty much able to take care of themselves after a year or to. But not so man. A baby remains totally dependent on it's mother for at least 8 years before it can provide for itself. What kind of survival tactic is that? It is counter-intuitive. Yet that is how it is.

Early man, for some reason, got a much more powerful brain than he needed or even would need for many generations. Yet, there is was. The same as it is today. Why?

This is old, man!
Your saying because man cannot figure out its purpose, therefore its obsolete.
If evolution were true, the appendix would stop appearing in human bodies.
However, there it is, again and again, full and complete.

We don't need it per say but there is a lot of research going on that is trying to prove that appendix helps fight diseases; in which case it is nice to have. We technically don't need eyes either, but they are nice to have.

So the zombies that rise at the Resurrection can have something to eat and we will still be able to stay alive and have a chance to get saved.

Duh!

Actually, the appendix excretes a substance that would help us digest raw meat, if we still ate it.

Sorry, I just love monkey jokes.

And there you have your proof!

Hoever, reality is that both theories are correct, God initiated the Big Bang, and everything evolved from there.

Simple, but hard for most to accept.

The theory of evolution is not wrong, Just mislabeled. God is still in the process of creation , Some call this process evolution.

If the THEORY of evolution is true, then why are there first stage sapiens (monkeys, apes, etc.) and last stage sapiens (humans) but no middle stage sapiens alive? If conditions required first stage sapiens to evolve into humans, wouldn't the ones who didn't change die out?
