I walk to and from uni everyday and i was wondering.... which is more practical before crossing a street.... Should we look "left-right-left" or "left-right"? Also, explain why u say so. In my opinion, isn't looking "left-right" sufficient enough?

As said in other answers, it depends on where you live. But either left, right, left or right, left, right, you need to be alert to possible danger.

Once you look to be sure it is clear, then you would want to view where the traffic could be coming from. So it would be back to the left, and once you get to the middle of the street, check again to the right, again to be on the look out for traffic that may have just turned on to the street.

Left-right-left

Although I still find issues with this. I have looked left-right-left and then started to go and what do you know there is a vehicle coming from my right cause I was looking left last.

You should look left twice, just in case you missed seeing a car coming the first time. It sounds silly, but it can prevent accidents. You should look left first because they will be the cars that hit you first....and then right and left again....and sometimes right again if you are at a dangerous intersection.

You are supposed to look left right left
The reason, the time you have taken from looking for left to right, a car could be coming from your left

It depends which country you happen to be in - Britain and Jamaica for example drive on the left so you would look right-left-right while US, Canada and Nigeria drive on the right so you would look left-right-left. In the latter instance, if you only look left-right; something might have suddenly appeared on your left while you were looking right.

No females are not the purely ones that do this. I commonly discover my self admiring somebody else and feeling very eco-friendly with envy of them. it will be low self esteem yet I cant be certain. yet honestly everyone feels it really is going to surely. till your one among those tremendous suitable preppy kinds, or if you're pleased with your self. yet no longer many persons are pleased with the way they seem. With human beings being made prettier and prettier how can an common male sense smooth in his own pores and skin. i have self belief like I even ought to stay as a lot as all the perfect human beings. yet I cant and that i'll purely ought to get use to that. i'd be happy being me.

I teach my children, Left-right-left, especially on crowded streets where someone may turn or be going very fast and get to you quickly. It never hurts to be more cautious rather than less cautios.

Depends on where you live. I'd look twice in the direction where the traffic would be nearest to me, to make sure something hadn't come near me as I was busy looking the other direction.
