a senator once said that 'to stop corruption in a country, all old people should be killed and to teach children the right way from the start.'

or think about this, 'to those who are mentally challenged or disturbed, we are the ones who are different, but for us, they are different'

in morality class when i was in HS, a priest asked us, ....

...if we were taught that we are butterflies, would we have learned how to fly? (even without wings?)

...if we were taught that (the letter) A is actually a (letter) Z, would we read/write A as Z and Z as A?

...if we were created with our sex organs on our hands, wouldn't be easy to do coitus while just shaking hands?

These are the IFs,... these are not truths. We are already given the Truth. The way to discover that Truth is not easy, it was never promised to be an easy task. Instead of wondering about the ifs and the might be, why not just take it as it is, accept it and live on,...

Jesus purpose is to save and to heal a person spiritual, physically and mentally. Remember in his day people's hearts were harden to truth much like today. People say they know the Bible yet many never have read it. Pharisees and other religious leaders new there scriptures but did not understand them. Jesus purpose was to save us from our sins and to heal us. Christ can heal the mind if you think about it he did reprogram a few demon possessed people in the Bible. Christ desires people who want to have a relationship with Him and to know Him. One day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord but until then people make a choice whether to allow Christ to make a difference in their life. So basically some won't ever be deprogrammed based on the fact they wish not to chose truth which is Jesus.

Jesus didn't come to judge the world the first time. He is coming to judge the world this second time and every knee will bow to Him and He will rule with a rod of iron.

It will take Jesus!

Why bother? At least a belief in God and His son allows for spirituality. What would replace it?

I used to think it was education, but I've changed my mind in the past few months.

People don't believe in god because of intellectual reasons. They believe in him because of emotional reasons. If you take care of their emotional needs - then they could have the courage to question and be free of it.

let them believe want they want, if they want to believe in something you consider a fallacy, and it's not hurting you...oh well then. We can't change people, especially if the person feels they don't need to change.
