I work at a reception hall that hosts weddings and receptions and there are so many different popular rings for men, that he can almost have anything he wants. My suggestion is a white gold band with a heartfelt inscription inside and a few diamonds around the band, if he wishes.

8 round 8 point diamonds in white gold.
My wife found a ring without diamonds and had them added for me.

My husband's wedding band has both gold & silver, and has a carving around the outside. It is very attractive. We did not get matching bands - I liked one thing & he liked another.

Go shopping for his ring together, so you can get an idea of what he likes. My husband's ring is Titanium with inset diamonds around the whole band, he doesnt normally wear a lot of jewelry, and Titanium is very light weight, so it works well for him.

my guy is the total manly man who works with his hands and didn't want any diamonds because they would just get dirty and blah blah blah so when we went to the store i told him pick out what he wants and sure enough he picks out the white gold band with 3 large diamonds in it! my advice is just take him to the store and let him pick it out or pick out a few options and get one of those for him! it really is better to have him pick it because he's the one who will be wearing it!

My husband wanted a plain band. He was very specific. PLAIN. No diamonds, engraving, designs, etc. Absolutely plain.

My husbands is platinum with a tiny square embedded diamond. If its small, like teeny, and embedded, its very nice for men.
