Have you read the bible? It doesn't present a very strong case for god.
Perhaps Satan did put a jinx on Gutenberg.

Wow! A lot of these arguments are a huge stretch. For those saying God is all powerful and doesn't allow Satan to stop the printing of Bibles: If he is all powerful, then why doesn't he just destroy Satan? For those saying Satan lets the bible exist b/c it leads people astray who misinterpret it: It is obvious that if no bible existed then 100% of people would be astray b/c nobody would know about it, which is more effective than leading some people astray by hoping they interpret the bible incorrectly.

Sometimes the answer is so obvious, you just miss it. My opinion is that it is all made up. In the future people will be talking about Christianity like we talk about dead religions like Greek Mythology. Don't you think people believed just as strongly in those religions and were just as sure about them?

Satan certainly is the god of this world and certainly possess power, but he does not have authority over the Bible. That would be saying that Satan has authority over God, and we know that this is not just unlikely, but impossible!

The Bible is the very Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16 states, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God." That word "inspire" means - "God breathed." God also promised that He would preserve His word. Psalm 12:7-8 states, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." We also learn that, no matter what, the Word of God cannot be bound (2 Timothy 2:9).

Though Satan may greatly desire to corrupt the Bible, and even endeavor to do so, that Old Serpent the Devil will continue to labor in vain because the Lord Jesus Christ is faithful and will bring to pass what He has promised.

He isn't all powerful the way God is. Without the Bible people wouldn't know the truth and how could God pass judgment on someone who hasn't even heard of His word? Atheist, this is not a get out of jail free card for you...you know about the Bible, you choose to ignore it and not believe. Besides...why would Satan stop the printing of Bibles when so many dillusional people on power trips like John Smith (Mormon founder) and Sun Young Moon (Moonies founder) can twist it and lead people astray by using it out of context and creating cults...the Bible garners a lot of souls for Satan when people don't understand the teachings.

satan is a scumbag, you can tell him that for me. he is worthless. Don't you even have the faintest clue that when he told Jesus he had power to give anything to Him, That he at that time possessed our authority which has long since been taken from him. And the only power the scab uses is our individual power and authority that GOD gives each one of us! He has absolutely NO POWER of his own.
So you might as well be worshiping a homeless person cause the fact is they have more power than panty waste satan. All he does is use our GOD - given power and authority and cons uneducated beings into thinking the power came from him when the fact is the puke has been stripped of power. Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Satan rules nothing. If he exists at all it is only because his Master allows it for whatever purpose...he really is no more than a bug under the feet of God. He has no power, no control and certainly nothing to say about Bibles being printed.

because Satan is still under Gods rule. Read the book of Job to see that God allowed Satan to do things to him (Job) and his family. God will not allow Satan to stop reproduction of Bibles, but the enemy uses people to try to steal the living word out of their hearts as you see happening everyday.

Well God would not allow it not to be printed...But Satan was almost successful in having God's name removed in the bible...but then there was one verse were the translators and printers left, Psalm 83:18 of all bibles have God's name....

The Bible indicates there is a power at work restraining lawlessness and that this power will be removed for 7 years durring the tribulation. Then all havoc will be released upon humanity. Even a entity will come up out of the abyss and attack christians. This will be a horrid beast. Have you seen the movie entity something in that order.
