If you're in the turn lane, and have your signal on, it makes it clear to the other drivers that you intend to turn - even if it is a turn ONLY lane, so it never hurts to have the signal on even when you are in the turn lane.

you are going to be able to desire to do it from the far left lane, or from a U-turn lane if presented. in case you do it from yet another lane, you're slicing in the process site visitors whilst doing it, and you are going to be able to reason an twist of destiny whilst somebody headed the comparable course as you runs into you. you may certainly might desire to do it because of the fact the officer mentioned. you will might desire to pass from the left maximum lane. And definite, you ought to returned up site visitors to do it, and it must be risky. With a difficulty as you describe, you mustn't be making a U-turn in any respect. It appears like a disaster, extraordinarily in case you will might desire to do it as a three-element turn. you will might desire to discover something like an intersection and then get onto a area highway and turn around there. Regardless, it seems such as you certainly deserved the fee ticket. this is going to say precisely what you have been referred to for on it (as numbers), which you will look as much as see the regulation.

You always use your turn signal no matter what. If you are turning or changing lanes. Even if that lane is designated for the turn. Always!

It's a fairly innocent thing to forget, but I'd still use it. I mean, why not make sure everyone knows exactly what you're going to do? That way no one new to the intersection will be confused, and people will be reassured that you are in the lane for a reason. That being said, I still forget to do it myself sometimes.

I do it out of habit...if nothing else to confirm that I'm going to make a right turn, and to assure other drivers behind me that I'm not going to try to get into the thru lane.

Oh well I don't signal when I am already in the turn lane. I am actually waiting for a cop to stop me because I think it will be illegal to not turn in the turn lane. So I think I'll be able to win this argument with the cop too! :)

I would always use it. Its a courtesy to others and if you're ever in an accident it could be an important piece of info if you had it on or off.
