Al Gores Conservation plan:
1. Be rich.
2. Pollute all you want.
3. Make no actual changes in your way of living to actually reduce the pollution you produce.
4. Pay money to the big "Green" god to suposedley cover all the pollution you produce.
5. Consider yourself a pollution free producing conservationist example because of your generous financial donation to the "Green" god in the sky.
6. Tell others who are poor to actually change the way they live their every day life, to suffer, to sacrifice and to actually cut back on the things they do that enhance their families lives which produce pollution.
Anyone see how ridiculious and hypocritical this is? Al Gore, the liberal democrat touts a plan for the rich while overwhelming the poor, mostly blacks and hispanics, to sacrifice their way of life while he and other like him enjoy the benefits of being rich. Is this the way of the democrats, the liberals?

You pretty much got it.

Remember, Al Gore wastes as much energy in one month as you can conserve in a year.

You forgot step 7.
"Poor" countries accept money from rich countries for meaningless "carbon credits", saying "Sure, we'll cut back on development and burning fossil fuels!"
Then they just go ahead and burn as much fuel as they want anyway. There is no system to punish countries for cheating the system, nor is there a system to punish countries who don't meet Kyoto Protocol targets (and it looks like almost NONE of them will). Al Gore wouldn't want to bring attention to this huge loophoe anyway, as it would prove how meaningless this all is, so they'll all get away with it.

Meanwhile the third world dictators who got money to "not burn fossil fuels" use the money to fund their armies to stay in power by oppressing their citizens, as usual. Good work, Al!
This will definitely make him eligible for the ranks of well-meaning and/or evil architects of chaos, suffering, impotence, famine, poverty and death Nobel Peace Prize winners such as Arafat, Carter, the UN Peacekeepers, Kofi Annan, Kim Dae-Jung, the Campaign to Ban Land Mines, and the IAEA. Congrats, Al!

I see how hypocritical it is. I just have more important things to worry about than Al Gore's carbon footprint. Like my own, for instance.
