I've seen it in several movies, the tycoon always has a fancy glass bottle with similar cups somewhere near his desk. It's a yellowish color, and obviously an alcoholic beverage.

Some examples I of movies I've seen it in:
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Lex Luthor's mansion in Smallville
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

In movies, the stuff that is actually in the bottle and being consumed is a non-alcoholic, lookalike drink. Sometimes it is supposed to be scotch, sometimes bourbon, and many movies have the tycoon sipping brandy. It si really ice tea, decarbonated cola, or, in one very low-budget flick, colored water.

Single-Malt Scotch Whiskey. It smells like kerosene and tastes like peat moss. Awesome.

If it is in the movie "They are actors..!"
More than likely IT IS tea.
They will save the alcohol for after the shoot.
