If you were to go with something like this, leave the Emo out of it.....that is a fad and will soon be lost with the 60's

Sounds kinda cute, but I wouldn't spend much money on it. No offense, but I would wonder if the child would just want to listen to the music all the time and not eat with it. It is a good idea, though. Maybe a few bucks at the most.

It has its good points. But I would not buy it.
Here's why -
Is does not sound like it would be dishwasher safe, plus I need multiple spoons since I dont run the dishwasher after every meal.
Spoons are pretty cheap.
Their reward for eating right is my praise, I wont pay for something to do that.
Id keep it up though, sounds like you're on the right track, but maybe not with this product. Check out sites like mom inventors if you havent already

I use My Space a lot, it made a dream come true, as I met a musician who made several rock songs to my lyrics. I never use it as a social network in terms of contacting friends etc... more as a network for meeting old and new favorite bands and also a forum for authors and books. I am currently writing a book so the input from other authors is really cool for me. I also like Imeem since Smiley invited me to join it. I have only a few play lists so far, but they sort of represent me as an eclectic music lover and I have uploaded many songs from my personal files. I have lists that range from Classical music to Disco/Trance, and Rock/Metal/Jazz.....But I must confess I do spend a lot of time listening to Smiley's and Will's lists too! they are simply amazing. While I listen to all that music.......I surf the net and research for my book in sites like Scientific American which I am subscribed to. MQ: New fave bands.....OPETH and The Lizards.....ohhh and I am practically obsessed with the cover album that Vanilla Fudge made of Led Zeppelin's songs. Thanks Smiley, as I can finally enjoy LZ !

Sorry, but I gotta go with 0. I don't see the need for it. I think the digital screen is overkill. -Maybe- a color changing heat sensitive plastic that cost no more than a regular spoon would be o.k. Still it'd more of a marketing gimick than a useful feature.
p.s. a product like this could raise big liability issues.

my son loves spoons. he had one that made airplane sounds but it stopped working the first time after i washed it. make sure your product can be able to withstand water!! i wouldn't pay more than $4-5 each or you could do a 2 pack for $7.

Hmm, I think it's a good idea but my guess is that it would be pretty expensive. I'd rather just check the food temp. myself & entertain the kids instead of dishing out money for a hi-tech spoon.

I wouldn't buy it.
Fingers are the ideal way for first foods to be fed, and detect temperature just fine. As toddlers grow they naturally want to start mimicking those around them and start eating with forks and spoons.

I wouldn't pay anything for it because to be honest, it sounds like something I wouldn't buy. I can check the temp of my kids food myself and I can give them praise too.
