I have recently had the yearning to start painting. Where can I get a blank canvas? I was thinking maybe the craft store Micheals, but thier website does not show any. Anyone?

If you feel like starting try canvas board. If you want to by canvas it still needs work and prestreched isn't all that good usually.

Besides.. they have it:

You can try AC Moore...even WalMart has small canvases, depends on how big you want to go! Painting is very therapeutic...I have been painting pictures for years, but never understood Abstract Art until I went through a divorce...it was GREAT...and I still do it now when I am feeling things I can't control. Either way, no matter what the reason for your painting, I am sure you will enjoy it!

Yes, Michaels should have canvas, paints, books etc. That is where I got all of my painting things. Sometimes they don't show everything on their website.

If you go to a Michaels you will definitely find blank canvas on which to paint.

You should also try art supply stores.
