yes. sex is just when you want to get an "o". love is when you take the time to know your partners body. and you dont miss an inch of it. you make sure to touch every part in some way and take your time appreciating each other.

I think a lot of people have it sorta right or almost right, but many here seem to be missing the important connection.

Sex is an act, a physical act. It DOES bring two people closer together often because , even if it is casual, no one in this entire world would sleep with just anyone, but it is a PHYSICAL act, none the less.

Making love is something that transcends sex. Sex is the basis, but it involves emotional expression which is presumably lacking with sex. It's giving someone you love, as purely and wholly as you can, every feeling and desire you have for them.

Yes the difference is in both the relationship and the purpose. If you are married to a person and want "a quickie", then this is sex, however, if both of you are interested in "a quickie", then this very well could be making love because it impacts the relationship in a larger manner.

Love making is and will always impact the relationship in a deeper more connected manner. It is true connection between the couple and it is desired by both. Keep in mind that we are NOT speaking of time or duration but passion and intent.

I believe there is a difference. Making love involves the whole mind, body and soul and is just the most amazing experience.

Sex is more like an animalistic, purely physical urge, which you can still experience with the person you're in love with...and that's an amazing experience also, just on a different level.

Yes. Sex is just the animalistic need for procreation or a yearning for the act being performed. Making love occurs when the persons involved feel a genuine love for one another and choose to use seuxal interaction to profess and show their love for one another. Making love is usually a slower, more intimate action, but sex is down and dirty, raunchy and quick... Most of the time, anyway...

Huge difference between the 2.. Making love ALWAYS involves emotions, sex doesnt always, "sex" is only the word of that act, making love is the emotional and physical gesture of love.

sex is like yeah in out inout - feels okay and making love is more about the emotional connection than the physical act. Of course f**king is that mind blowing yesss nasty kind of... you know what. I think all kinds of physical "love" have their good and bad points, but there is a difference, often dependant upon how much you care for the love-object of the moment, and how much passion you share.

i think its a personal thing. sex is what i have at any place from home. its what i do out of the blue. making love is what is done when i want to feel closer to my partner, when its meaningful (harsh but true)... you get the drill? a night together after the club, and drinking you have sex... a night after a movie, dinner... something romantic you probably make love afterwards... i dont know (laughs!) its my personal opinion but i guess its something to help you build your own. if you've ever been with a girl and feel something special like it really meant something.. you've made love... theres a deeper connection (not literally!)

hoep this helped atleast somewhat

I never thought there was. But since I have been with my current partner, I now know the difference.

Sex is an act with a goal of having an orgasm.

Making love is when you are expressing the love of you and your partner. It brings you closer everytime you do.

there is a big difference.

to me sex is rampant and animal like and doesnt have to be with someone you love, its when there is no real intimate connection it is just lust and all abut chemistry.

whereas making love is about being intimate and bonding with the love of your life. there is nothing more special than making love to someone you are crazy in love with.

i have never enjoyed making love as much as i do now, before it was just all sex to me and i couldnt be bothered, now since i have been with my fiance i cant get enough, would do it morning noon and night if i had the chance!!! i feel so loved and special

"Sex" is a general term, and therefore includes a wide range of in-bed activities.

"Making love" is gentle treatment wherein persons take time to relish and slowly appreciate every inch of their partners.

Usually, depending on the mood, couples will alternate between this and a more passionate, animalistic going-at-it.
