It works both ways and depends how to look at it

- time can heal a break up
- time away from your partner can make you love them more

Depends on your mindframe I think and how strong your relationship is in the first place

I agree with you since I am currently in the same predicament. I go out with this guy every 7-10 days and have already developed a mutual understanding with him to which both of us admitted. Frankly, everytime we say goodbye to each other at the end of each date, we feel our hearts tugging since it would take awwhile before we see each other again. We talk to each other over the cell phone everyday for a few minutes to make sure our lines of communication are open but I feel it is still not enough. I believe that being with the person brings to us the magic we are looking for and the longer it is for us to be apart from that person, the more we realize how important that person is to us in our daily lives.

It depends on how long the absence is.
I think if you are away from someone you care about...that is when you learn how much you really care by how much you miss them etc...
So in a way it could be true.

be cool...

i think it is true that absence can be a good thing for a relationship it gives both partys time to reflect and look at the relationship without rose coloured glasses so to speak so you kno how you really feel(or dont feel)!

I believe in this. What made me realise how much I love my other half is when he is away. Hate being apart as miss him so much. Soppy I know but true.
I think being apart gives you space and makes most realise how much someone means to them when separated for a while.

No because you have to connect on ALL levels not just emotionally. You need to be able to be totally comfortable with that person
