NO, it will get into the mothers milk, and advantage is not digestable, it poses the rish of death to the puppies. I'd recomend using Dawn Dish Soap for a bath, and its safe for the puppies to. Unfortunatly this is the only safe alternative until the puppies are at least 8-12 weeks old.

In tests with Advantage, no adverse embryonic effects were detected, so it technically safe for use on pregnant and nursing animals.
However, Frontline is more generally known to be safe for use on pregnant and nursing animals as well as newborn puppies and kittens, and is the one we always recommend.
Advantage does not yet have the reputation of safety that Frontline has, so it is best to stick with Frontline Spray as this is known to be safe.
Dawn Dish soap is NOT the only safe treatment. Furthermore, while it will wash the fleas off the animals it won't prevent others jumping on and snacking as soon as the animal is dry, and then you'll just be infested all over again.

Advantage goes into the dogs system. Our dog actually becomes lethargic and doesn't feel well after using on her. I would be afraid this would go into the mother's milk and either make the pups sick or kill them. Need to ask your vet to be sure.

NO, the chemical used to prevent fleas will migrate into her blood (which it is supposed to do) and then into her milk. Hold off any treatment until she is done nursing the pups.
