Stewart historically starts winning races at this point in the season (after Dega), so, no..I won't be missing it.

I think Stewart is the only driver that in the long run will be able to compete with Hendrix on the track. If he hadn't been wrecked out in the last two laps of Dega last week, he had a legit shot at taking the lead from the outside line. The week before he was edged in the final laps by Gordon. He also has more lead laps than any other driver. I predict that he takes over this weekend.

There must be a goat involved for it to get this bad. It's almost as bad as watching wrestling.
I wish the other drivers would just stop at about lap 100, get out of there cars and shut down the whole race. Then, tell Nextel they are not getting back in until they were given a fair shake at winning. I'm not a fan of Tony Stewart, but I'll bet he's the only one with the sack to pull something like that.
Cup racing has gotten way too sissified. I say let them race. I would rather watch some girly-man like Gordan race his way to Victory lane than see it "handed" to my favorite driver.
No rational person could have watched the last two races and honestly say Nextel did lean toward Hendrix and away from drivers like "Smoke". Seven cars were bumper to bumper going down pit road Sunday, only Tony was speeding? I doubt that. That was Nascar's way of saying "don't bad mouth us in public".
Hey, Nextel, let those guys race.

No, I can't wait to see another Hendrick Victory. Ithink this time around will be the youngest Hendrick driver. Making it a 1, 2, 3, 4...

I guess I'm missing the connection you're trying to make. Let's see.... Nascar shows favoritism to Hendrick so that makes all the other drivers give up and lose??? Except for this last race that ended under caution (due to a non Hendrick car crashing) the finishes have been hard fought and exciting. Either way I understand your frustration because it sucks cheering for second best. Go Gordon!!!!

I will be watching the race. I'm a huge NASCAR fan. I do agree however, that the COT is dominated by Hendrick. For some reason, they just have it figured out. Hopefully, other teams can use their resources and get a handle on the car.

That is funny!!!!

True story, for 3 weeks in a row last, my brother (who knows nothing about racing) showed up at the house as the NASCAR race was winding down. Each time the race had a "late caution" and set up the exciting shootout ending.

He said and I quote "What are the WWF writers working for NASCAR Now???"

Back on topic I am also sick of the Hendrick love fest, I am beginning to wonder just how true Tony Stewarts words were.

I drive a Honda because Honda has a more succesful (higher quality car ) than Chevrolet. I LOVE Honda, but I do not hate Chevrolet.

I like Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon and Juan Montoya, et. al, because they are talented racers and decent men. I do not "hate" any other drivers (Newman is a jerk, however) and I respect most of the others (I respect Dale Earnhardt, Matt Kenseth, Elliot Sadler, et. al).

Only the uneducated "hate" other racers or will turn away from the sport because their favorite racer is getting beat consistently.

And, only the true pigs and slobs of the world throw debris on a racetrack. They are subhuman. It is too bad a class guy like Dale Earnhardt Jr. has such swine as fans.

I love racing too much, I dont think I can not watch it. But I just dont know if I can watch hendrick esp. gordon win another race. Its too depressing. the thing is joe gibbs racing is in there too with the cot, just not on the 1 lap that counts, its getting sickening. I pray every race to see the 24 or 48 crash. I was excited to see the 5 crash, it was great. I just cant watch their smug victory interviews(gross).

I will be watching it..but isn't it funny? Hendricks did most of the testing with the COT and now they are mysteriously adding more COT races this year...Oh yeah..someones got some photographs alright.
