I certainly don't trust anyone online. In my experience, everyone lies. If I want to find love, I'll do it in person.

Cause sometimes you get lucky and do find your true love and then other times you find of course the sexual preditors. Whether its online or its in person, you still dont know what that person is capable of. In my case, I actually found my true love online (myspace lol) and we live together and been together for 2 yrs now. We do have kids and marriage in mind for a near future. See, its not always that bad. Just be careful cause theres alot of crazy people out there ......but at the same time dont always think everyone's like that cause you'll end up passing up a person that could've been your true love.

Most of the people on the single dating websites, especially the ones you pay for, are legitimate. People go on line to look because it is easier and it brings a vast amount of potential mates to their attention, most of which they would never have met under "normal" circumstances.
I met my husband of 2 years through a singles dating website four years ago. I would not have met him otherwise as he lived 50 miles from me and I never went to that town and he was never in my town.

i suggest that (like me) they dont like the bars, clubs, pubs and dont know anywhere else to meet and talk to people so you can get to know them --- i am none of the above and i have not yet met a lady that is even close to one of those categories
the people i have spoken to have tried the dating scene and are totally put off by it --- for myself i am reserved in public (even though i do teach and run seminars) and find online allows me to get to know someone a bit better before meeting them
finally i met a very special lady online (she is 15,000 kmm from me so without online dating we would never have met) === i am not a spring chicken either
