I leave all my lights, tv, radio, and computer on 24 hours a day. I waste tons of water. I never recycle. I order free catalogs, magazines, and products off of the interntet so I can just throw them away. I always look for overpackaged products so I can have more trash away. I read about the environment so I can find out how to hurt it more.

Well it seem to me that you enjoy doing all of those things. I am not perfect by no means but...you should try to do better. Don't buy as many magazines and if you do then see about trying to find a place close to you to recycle thoes. Turn off the water if you are not using it! Hey, it is your bill if you leave all thoes things on. So if you want to pay them go right ahead but...you would be helping yourself and the rest of us if you turned them off while not in use! It is your money though...go ahead and pay more!
Question.....WHY, do want to make it worse?

Consider yourself a part of the environment. You are a product of the environment and as such cannot live without affecting it. It should be respected of course but you have no reason to feel guilty about it.

Basically. You have evolved to live and thrive in current environmental conditions, and if you change said conditions too rapidly, you might find yourself a little worse off on the 'thriving' end of things. So while you might think it's edgy and fun to do this at present, I can assure that it is only because you're ignorant.

Not crazy, but maybe just insensitive. Do you cut people off in traffic and take cuts in lines and things like that without any little feeling of guilt about the problems you cause other people by pleasing yourself? If so, then you have your answer.

No, you're not. You're not killing the earth, and don't let people tell you that you are. I mean, yeah you could be a bit more umm....moderate (?) about buying magazines. You could just read the articles at the store and leave them there, but no, I don't think that any one persons life influences this huge earth in any big way.

It's a shame you won't be around to enjoy it when the human race becomes extinct. If all people were such morons, it wouldn't be a great loss when people disappear from the face of the earth.
