Just use a lot of lubricant and you will be fine. Introduce lube into part of the foreplay...rub some on (in?) yourself before he enters you and put some more lube on his member...Remember, wetter is better!! Don't feel embarrassed using this...it will make it more comfortable for you...

Honestly, you might not feel pain, you might just feel discomfort. The best thing to do is start w/ the missionary position. Make sure the guy takes it nice and slow. If he just goes at it then you might feel some pain. Once you get into it it will be fine. Also, know that if you are that worried about feeling pain, you're not ready to have sex. Wait!

Talk to a urologist. The pain is usually associated with the tightness in the vaginal wall muscles. They have never been stretched out or used prior (ever heard the slang phrase about someone being "tight"). Urologists have different size rods that they use with patients to stretch different areas out (i.e. urethra). You would gradually use different size rods until you felt comfortable to move on over the course of a week or so. Otherwise, think O.T.C. pain relieve and an ice pack the next day.

I had NO pain when I had sex for the first time. Could be because I had been using tampons for years, I have no clue. But, not everyone has pain or as strong of pain as others. I wouldn't worry about it! If it hurt that bad, no one would be having sex!

Um, sorry no. It's just a part of it. Don't do it if you're not ready. Make sure you really care about him and that he really cares about you. Don't do it just to do it. You'll want to look back on it as something special and not just something you did because you thought you should. Trust me. I lost my virginity at 15 with a guy that I thought really cared about me, but we broke up a month or so later. I did it, because I thought he and I would be together for a long time, but we weren't. After that guy and I broke up, I got back together with my first love and I wasn't able to share "my first time" with him. I always regretted that. It's been almost 15 years since then, and I still wish I would have waited. Just something to think about, but it's going to hurt no matter what.

The only way to make is less painful is more foreplay, but no matter what you do it will still hurt a bit, But it doesn't last long, when you in a steady relationship you will get used to it! and there will be no pain just lots of fun! So enjoy!

Firstly be sure you're ready because the easiest way you can ease the pain and discomfort is by relaxing which if you're not ready you wont be able to.
Taking it slow and being gentle helps but aren't the answer you have to feel comfortable and relax and don't move any faster then you are ready to.

Supposedly, girls that are especially athletic (such as you play soccer regularly, etc.) are more likely to tear their hymens without knowing it but not so much that they're not a virgin anymore. So, basically, if you're really athletic then you might not feel much.

However, I do have to agree with some of the others. If you're worrying so much about it and having to post your question up here, then are you really ready?

Uh, that is a huge step that can have some serious physical and mental repercussions- really think about it without someone else in your ear before you decide to do that. If you do go through with it, make sure you use protection. Be safe!!
