well first off never use a hot oil treatment it actually can damage your hair more that help it and cause it to split more first off try to get it cut and thinned out a bit at least and when you wash your hair and use conditioner leave some of it in dont completely rinse it out. that will help protect and repair your hair greatly and towel to air dry never blow dry... that frys it even more :)
try aussies miracle 3 minute treatment conditioner or humectress leave in conditioner :)

The thing I did to better my damaged hair was I cut all of it off, not it is growing in more healthy, this is a good thing ot do if your hair is realley damaged, I tried everything else nothing worked. I am happy I did it at times but also miss having long hair butit would only look good after curling or drying it, but now I can leave it without doing anything to it.

cut your hair in straight or u shape it look nice then after shampoo use the sunsilk or dove conditioner take small amout of conditioner in hand spread it in your hand apply it on top to end after 5 min rinse in water then your hair will get soft. continue use for 1 month but you have to do 2 to 3 times in a week other days you should not apply whole head just apply half of the hair don't apply on your sculp to prevent hair falling apply oil in the night time and do massage for good circulation if you have good circulation then your hair will grow. Use amla and egg and metti(vendaiam) mix and apply like a hair mask once in a week to maintain good hair.

I found a great product, it is pantene hair mask. You leave it in for three minutes and your hair feels sooooo nice and soft. You can also use hot oil.
Some things to try at home would be mayo covered with plastic, or dumping a can of beer over you hair and letting it soak in.
(You really have to try the hair mask though...it's awsome!!)

hot oil treatment once a week . olive oil works best for me also try frizzeaze hair serum. a non-alcohol containing gel can also make a huge difference. on the really bad hair days i tie it half up and half down. good luck with that

for silkier shiny hair....use less shampoo and rinse it more than u think u need.. shampoo in the hair makes it appear to be dry....conditioning it also makes it silky
