I have started dating this man. We are both 41, and I have 2 children who are 22 and 16. He never had kids with his ex wife. We are getting very serious. I am falling deeply in love with him, and I think he feels the same. The problem is that he wants a baby, and I cant have any more. I had a hysterectomy. I am afraid he will eventually break it off with me so he can find someone to have kids with. Should I break it off with him now, never knowing what could have been, or should I just wait until he makes up his mind what he wants to do. He said that he doesnt want to live with out me. I just dont want to lose my heart. What should I do?

Well, if he loves you, then he will understand. Does he know that you have had this operation? Just sit down and have a nice, long talk with him. I'm sure if he loves you as much as you do him, he will understand. Adpotion is definately a choice. Not to mention, if you were to get pregnant at the age of 41, you would have a lot of risks with carrying full term, and there could be complications with having the baby. Either way, now that the operation is already done and over with, all you really have left is to adopt. Maybe you and him could call an adoption agency, and tell them that you guys are interested, but haven't made a choice. I'm sure they'd get you in for an appointment, and explain everything that goes along with adopting. Make sure you both go to it, make it a family thing. Plus, with the both of you there, it would make you feel tons better, because you know he actually wants to be a part of it.

Hope everything works out. =]

ok now is the time for you to be honest with him and tell him the truth cuz if he wants kids and you cant have any hes going to be thinking you can and he will have that on his mind and you need to sit down with him and tell him and explain to him that you love him very much and that you dont want to hurt his feeling but you cant have any childreen because of medical condition. and ask him if he wants to continue with a relationship with a women that cant have any kids and see where his heart is and find out if he realy loves you. cuz if he know now that you cant have any kids and he accepts that then maybe you can adopt one but you need to talk with him and see where he wants to go with the relationship with you and if he realy loves you he would stay with you kids or no kids and find an other solution to what you both want and need. i hope this helps and god bless.

Is adoption an option? There are millions of kids who want and need to be adopted. Also there is also the option of a surrogate. But before alll this you need to talk over the options with him and make sure that the both of you do want to be in a committed relationship.

When you love someone you do thing what`s good for him not for your self, you tell him to find another woman to have kids with because you can`t and that`s that and let him make his mind what to do,love is sacrifice

Ask him & talk of options like adopting. You need to have that talk now since you're getting into serious territory.
