Convert all figures to cubic feet and then when you are done back to cubic yards. (To work in the height given in feet)

4 yards x 3 yards = 12 feet x 9 feet

12 feet x 9 feet x 8 feet = 864 cubic feet

There are 27 cubic feet in one cubic yard (3 x 3 x 3), so:

864 divided by 27 = 32

Answer = 32 cubic yards
