As a train Journalist you are not being told the truth at all.
What is Media? The first person to say information will be banned. Media used to be information, but now it is all about Marketing, as in Advertising. Therefore if your TV Station or Doctor, Consultant, whomever and whatever are receiving 'gifts' or 'money' from Advertisers then no way they are going to compromise that income. Next time you see your Doc, just have a look at all the items he has and see if any have the name of the drug or company on them, like stethoscope, thermometer, leaflets and so on. I once saw a Drug Rep handing out 'Mugs' for tea/coffee with the drug motif on and said 'Great I take the Drug and they get the freebies!' The only Media as in News you can trust is 'Public Service Broadcasting' because they have a Charter which states they have to be a disinterested voice. So they can interview people who are on the YES side and then interview people on the NO camp, thereby allowing the Public to make up their own minds. However outside of the BBC, I really do not know of any other Public Service Broadcaster.

You pose an excellent question. I don't think that we are told the whole truth about health issues by the media, only half-truths. The American economy is greatly influenced by the sale of medical related products such as medical services and drugs. You may notice how many drug companies advertise on all of the major networks. If the networks kept viewers well informed about how to get and stay healthy, then both the drug companies and the networks would lose big money. As usual, it's all about the bottom line. Too many people get their information from the news. That's a bad idea.

No, absolutely not. The government has so much controll on what info. the media is alowed to reveal. For instance, there is a cure and when I say cure, I mean 1 thing that can cure so many of our diseases, viruses etc. that the government/FDA will prosecute doctors if caught treating patients with this and its called ozone. Not ozone like in the ozone layer around the earth, ozone which is produced with an added molicule in oxygen. Its like super oxygen or something. Ozone has been used to treat and cure things like cancer in urope, but the US doesn't want the practice of it here because it would cure most all disease and then there would be almost no use for pharmacuticals and doctors. The governments biggest money makers are based on medicines. The government would loose so much money and loose control of people living and dieing. The only thing that doctors seem to do is prescribe you something to take that might make you feel better but rarely cures you or cut something out of you. I'm sure your wondering all about this ozone that I've mentioned, so to better clear up exactly what ozone is you should type in "ozone for medical use" on the internet and it will amaze you when you read all that it cures and how the government tries to ignore it. Of course the media never says anything about it, its monitored. It might even make you mad if you've ever had someone die close to you and find out they could have been saved with the treatment of ozone. Read it and see what you think!
