I'm not a Christian, but you are missing one very important detail from the Bible.

No fornication!!! That means it is a sin to have sex before marriage.

In today's society, 16 years olds are not considered adults and can't support themselves.

In order to have a successful life, one must get an education. Not to have babies that you can't support by yourself.

Having sex and a baby doesn't make you an adult.

Who is taking care of the child? I mean the paying of medical bills, diapers, food, toys, strollers, clothes and baby supplies?
It is not the 16 year old! It's the grandparents.

You know, it's the ignorant people who pay for welfare bills that most teenage mothers need, because they ended up on welfare.

Edit:
BTW, it's pregnant and ignorant. It's not pregnate and egnorant.

God created her to be a woman of God not a whore of the world or a adulter. Sex is a blessing reserved from the marriage bed. She is bring curses upon her and her children.
Those curses are found all over the nation as we speak. Her choice was to be blessed or cursed. They both already exist and she is making choices that will affect more then just her.
Like the blood of all the aborted children in this nation. That blood cries out againt the nation unto God for judgement.
Also now you have a social security problem due to the old age of the work force and have to allow workers from other nations to come her to become citizens and pay into social security to keep it going the curse in full effect. Why the childern that were to be the work force are dead this nation killed them. So there is a case and effect to everything. And SIN IS STILL SIN.

I imagine the religious people "get all pissy" because no marriage is involved. The secularists,on the other hand, would tend to "get all pissy"because we have a much longer lifespan now,it is not so neccessary,in fact,it is counterproductive..to "be fruitful and multiply". The flak probably coming from parents who possibly had dreams for her to further her education before bearing children, something that is extremely hard to do with babies around. Other than the parents,no one else should matter, and as a parent, they will still love their child,I know,You just have to understand from a parents point of view..that 16 yrs of dreams about thier child being a Dr.,lawyer,etc.,etc. went down the tubes. After a period of shock, they will come around and adapt to the situation

I love the way you spell "egnorant", really shows your intellignece.

So what is this 16 year old girl going to do to support this baby?

Live off of her parents, welfare?.... Get a job? Then who is going to take care of the baby?

16 is too young to have a baby. Period. That's why people get "pissy".

a great advice i received from a preacher was that we worry too much about what other imperfect people think about us. we should really worry about what God thinks of us.

the sin is not the baby but the fornication that took place before marriage.

i don't really get pissy when i see a young pregnant person. i just feel bad for them because its really hard to be so young and have to take care of another person. it could happen to anyone.

Fornication is to sin.
I hope she was married.

Because a female has a period it doesn't
mean her body is ready to give birth to a baby.
My best friend said she was six years old
when she had hers.

Stop quoting Scripture from the Bible
out of context. That was in the beginning,
before the Laws.

we just feel sorry that there are hard times ahead for both mother and baby. She has a hard road ahead to support the baby while finishing her education....I hope people don't get hateful with her.

I agree, I'm not religious, but I think if a girl gets pregnant, it's her problem, and no one else has the right to judge her. Plus bringing a baby into the world is something that should be celebrated, not frowned upon.
