A few years ago, I was a virgin (18) and had been dating my boyfriend at the time for two months. He was friends with my friends, the topic of me being a virgin never came up (we fooled around but never had sex) and although I should have mentioned something I just assumed he knew that I was. One night we came home from a date and he started to have sex with me. He didn't ask, he just did. I was in so much shock I didn't know what to do until after 30-40 seconds I told him to stop and he did. He said sorry and went to sleep. It was never mentioned agian the entirety of our relationship (about a year). It bothers me to this day. Was I raped? I really don't know.

I'm not trying to 'call out' rape, I honestly just never knew if I was or not. I didn't say no initially because in all honesty I did NOT expect he would start having sex with me and I was in serious shock. I think it's a more sensitive subject because that was my virginity.

Yes, it was rape, anytime a woman says no, or a man forces himself on you without your permission, it was rape!
You need to talk to someone, like a professional honey, before this keeps tearing yourself up!!!
Talk to your doctor or a psychiatrist, and just get it off your chest, and when you do it will make you feel a lot better, and then you can put the past behind you and move on with your life!

You know, I'm so SICK of hearing these people yelling "rape" when something happens that they regret. NO, YOU WERE NOT RAPED. What do you expect when you "fool around" with somebody and apparently let this man spend the night with you?? I don't know about you, but if somebody raped me, I would not then invite him to spend the night with me!!!!
If I didn't know better, I'd think you were looking for a fast buck.

No, not really, you didn't say no when he started, or pushed him off or anything, did you? And he did stop when he told you to, I do not classify that as rape. It seems like you feel guilty for .......something. Rape is when you tell someone no, and they continue.......Rape is when you are not able to say no, and they continue. When you are in shock, and you say no, they stop, I don't think that is rape..........

If he stopped when you told him to, it was not rape. Since you were both obviously naked, he must have had an idea that intercourse would not be a problem with you unless you voiced your objection.
So stop worrying about it. You were not raped.

No it wasn't .Cause as you mention Its sounds like you wasn't a virgin.As I read your story its states you wasn't. Only you know.And if you should have said no from the beginning. If he force you and you was saying no no stop from the beginning.Then it was .
