Hi, I was searching my Bible for a nice piece of scripture to bless a Minister, his wife and their child as they have moved into their new home. However I haven't been able to find something that really moves me - perhaps you good people on Yahoo answers could suggest something appropriate? Thanking you in anticipation of your help.

In Matthew 12, we are likened to a house each when we are warned not to keep ourselves "clean but empty" because wicked spirits will find us. Women are encouraged to be "house aware" in Titus 2:5. I don't think has to do with housework. I think it means canny as respects not letting (particularly probably female) friends beguile you into making unwise choices about your own things. This applies metaphorically to yourself as well as a woman.

Psalms 45 is a wedding song.

Phil 3:12-14 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Joshua's proclamation - For me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Some places even sell this as a plaque you can put on your wall.
