Ok we have all heard that the bible is the one true book of god and that the christian god is the one true god. In general, absolute truth can be proven, or shown, or somehow reaffirmed with a fact, or logic, or reasoning. Why is the bible and the christian god exempt from this general rule?

how do we know for a fact that we truly exist? how do we know for a fact that this life we are living at this very moment is not just a "dream" or image that we are seeing? how can you prove that you are not actually a tiny little atom, moving about, doing your job, and this life you are living, is only the mental image that the atoms mind has evolved to produce?
nothing is for certain. do you know how many times facts are proven wrong, after the fact that many people believed they were right......ten years ago if you would have asked, pluto is a planet, fact or fiction, you would say fact, but today if you ask the question, the answer is fiction.

You're making a lot of assumptions.

Christianity does not believe in the infallibility of the Bible. Some sects of Christianity believe it, but others do not.

I'm not sure where the standards for proving "absolute truth," but I suspect that many people do evaluate their belief with fact, logic or reasoning. Now, you can look at ones logic and argue that there are errors, but it's usually a difficult task to get everyone to agree with your argument.

They are not exempt. Without going in to the arguments here; It can be reasoned that it is logical to infer an infinite-personal-creator exists and that if he is true to his character he would indeed communicate with the creation. The Bible reveals the attributes of God and they are the ones that you would infer to God if he was true. All knowing if he made everything, all powerful in the context of our known universe, multi dimensional sense he can travel through all space-time dimensions, etc..

Show me the man that is absolute truth? How can a man recognize truth but by devine revelation? you say absolute truth can be proven...can you please provide your formula? whose logic and reasoning? If we follow the reasoning and logic of Hitler would we be correct? Which man's righteousness do we use to prove God? It is not by man's wisdom we know God but by God's revelation.

I'd say no, corrupt book with many additions, deletions, and so many versions http://www.mtholyoke.edu/lits/library/guides/biblver.htm <- 32 versions here, new one here http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,2144,2023998,00.html . Plus the celebration and glorification of pagan holidays. God fearing people would not celebrate pagan holidays, they would reject them.
