There are a range of types of potential immigrants. Find the Department of Immigration web site (google or yahoo will find it). Giving advice is pretty tough without knowing your circumstances. Or you could contact the nearest embassy or consulate. You will probably find a list somewhere on http://www.dfat.gov.au . You might even find a link to Immigration there.
