Yeah.
"What religion do you follow?"
That's a non-offensive, inquisitive question.

I think it may be difficult to ask a question about religion without upsetting somebody somewhere. I have noticed that many on this site are a little intolerant and biased in their opinions about religion, without actually studying the subject. I am an atheist, but i do have a spiritual leaning towards certain moral and ethical codes that 'religion' has tried to make 'us' all abide by. Sadly, religion has been under the control of 'man' for far too long and the original messages have been abused, lost or altered to fit the biased views of small minded control freaks! As an atheist i do not believe in 'gods' or 'messiahs' - but there is a lot to learn from the basic principles of any faith.

I read the answers first. I think it's rather funny how many are atheists answering, considering they have no religion. And their answers are about Christianity, when there are other religions in the world.
I rarely get "pissed off" by a question. I feel pity by many of the stupid ones, like "Isn't it true that Jesus was gay since He was always hangin out with 12 guys?" Questions like that are just plain ignorant and worthless. Those people need something else to fill their lives. Maybe they need the Lord.

If loose will is needed for us to truly love God, what happens in heaven? Is it conceivable to sin in heaven? (the two a diverse or no answer is unsatisfactory). the placement did devil come from - God could have created him, yeah? Why, then? Why create some element evil? Why create human beings indoors the 1st place, know-how that billions could ultimately finally end up in hell? - that may not comparable to God needed human beings, inspite of each little element, he's right yeah? If everybody suggestions that in line with probability God needed relationships with others, say that he's already in suited dating with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Ask why there are an wonderful form of contradictions indoors the Bible - isn't God efficient adequate to maintain the Bible errors-loose? Why does not God make faith much less complicated? If this is God who can provide Christians their faith (John 6), how can he blame human beings for now no longer believing in him, noticeably on a similar time because it is not any longer their fault they're born with unique sin? Can an all-efficient, omniscient God replace his destiny innovations? Does God have loose will? he won't be waiting to, by using actuality he's familiar with what the destiny could be, and he's familiar with no count quantity if he will replace his innovations indoors the destiny. Whaddya think of of of those ones?

And praising Jesus is bound to piss someone off.

Actually I know of some people who would find the Jesus question lacking in respect - so I quess the answer is - perhaps it is how the question is asked?
For instance :
For someone to equate an orgasm to heaven.
Do you think that some people might think that to bracket the two subjects together - one carnal and the other cerebral - that might just make people think that the poser of the question is just trying to make a cheap crack at what they hold dear?
As I say - modification to take into consideration peoples dearly held beliefs - would very often harvest some very intelligent answers that might widen ones horizons.
Maybe.

Religion is like that, Zoe . It's an entirely personal thing, and most people are so unsure of their position about it, they can't stand anyone saying anything even ever so slightly against what they think they believe. Poking fun at them by asking goading questions is like stomping on an ant's nest. It's a lot of fun, but we really should be careful - people are entitled to believe what they will, and we should respect that. Even I forget that sometimes. But it's soooooo tempting!!

I read through some of your history. Your question (s) were:
Do you think heaven is like an everlasting orgasm?
It's weird. So you got answers that were somehow not to your liking? Ask a question that doesn't attempt to motivate that kind of answer.
You have to admit that your question(s) that you asked more than once was weird.

Don't want to rain on this amazing parade, but your question is meaningless. Just substitute "religion" for "evolution" or "democracy" or "freedom of speech" You will always find plenty of people to piss off as you so graphically put it. So what's your point. Religion is not a prerequisite.
From your friendly atheist.

I don't think so, everyone has an opinion on a religion. I totally believe in God and that makes me happy, I don't preach to anyone and if people don't like what I believe then that is up to them.
There will always be someone though who will disagree hun x
