I think so...what other book leads people to persecution and Judging others. It seems to be the guidebook of those who molest and torment youth. It has inspired wars and violence.
It causes normal intelligent people to become passive sheep.
Not to mention giving their money away to strangers...A textbook of rules for man to follow that teaches them to be a slave to other men...Looks like Sh*t, Smells Like Sh*t...hmmmmm Must be Sh*t!!!! oh yeah..it would take someone of intelligence and an independant mind to figure that out...

If you are referring to Paul of Tarsus and the New Testament then one might argue yes.
Jesus formed the Nazarenes, the gnostic gospels. The Apostles and Jesus were the arch-enemies of the High Priests of the House of Ananus (Ananias), the pay masters of Paul of Tarsus. Even Josephus ben Matthias (St. Luke) was the son of one of the High Priests of this family and he wrote one of the gospels.
